Were currently looking for a Manager, Sams Club Transportation Logistics to grow our team!

Youll make an impact by

Managing freight distribution operations : youll manage freight carrier operational performance, oversee distribution quality control, manage performance exceptions (i.

e., late deliveries, damages etc.) and key performance indicators (KPIs), while initiating corrective action and developing policies and procedures

Collaborating with cross functional teams : youll work cross functionally with groups such as Merchandising, Replenishment and Logistics to manage logistics projects by developing timelines, overseeing the completion of tasks and deliverables and creating business solutions that lower cost

Providing Logistics decision support : youll provide decision support by sourcing, organizing, analyzing, interpreting data, and providing insight on current and future transportation trends

Design and implement transportation business solutions; youll partner and work with key stakeholders to develop new innovations and tools for carrier network capacity planning and management

Build recommendations for strategic initiatives : youll assist in evaluating strategic direction for distribution operations by benchmarking performance with other divisions and industry trends

Youll sweep us off our feet if

Youve managed 3rd party supply chain vendor relationships, preferably with logistics carriers

Youre highly analytical, eager to jump into data, problem solve and provide insights to improve business performance and reduce costs

You have an ownership mentality and are willing to push the status-quo to uncover efficiencies and drive change

You have advanced Excel skills, with some knowledge of SQL

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications : Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management (e.g., Logistics, Transportation) or related field and 2 years' experience in Supply Chain Management or related field OR 4 years' experience in Supply Chain Management or related field.

1 year's experience with word and database applications (e.g., MS-Office, Word, Excel).
